How to insert Miner3D into PowerPoint
It really is easy to insert image or video outputs generated by Miner3D into a PowerPoint presentation.
Using a couple of mouse actions you drag a file and simply drop it on a page where you want to present it.
But this only is a static graphics. Can I work with live Miner3D scenes?
Yes, this functionality is available in most of Miner3D installations,
but many of our users have difficulty in inserting Miner3D in PowerPoint.
In a few simple steps we will show what the right procedure is.
Insert Miner3D to PowerPoint step-by-step

1.
First you need to make sure that you have shown Developer tab in PowerPoint's ribbon.
If you can see it and use it, just goto #4.
If not, click the main button.

Click button "PowerPoint Options".

In the tompost "Popular" section tick "Show Developer tab in the Ribbon". Click OK to close the options window.

Click "Developer" tab.

In "Controls" column click the button "More Controls".
It's the small button displayed with with hammer and wrench.

Then select Miner3D Control in the pop-up dialog box.

7.
Use mouse to position and size Miner3D in your PowerPoint file.
This can be adjusted also anytime later.

8.
Right-click the area you have drawn and choose "Properties".

9.
Edit the "DocumentFile" property. Enter in the complete path to your M3D file.
10.
Turn "LoadData" property to True.
11.
Save and Run your PowerPoint presentation.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Also be sure to keep both M3D and data files in their original location(s).
Moving any of these files will brake the link between them and your visualization will not start properly.
If you copy your PPT file to another computer (you will need Miner3D installed here too!), always copy both M3D and data files and maintain their relative path.
The best approach is keeping data files always in the same folder with M3D files.
